It’s hard to Move More when moving more hurts. It’s hard to move more when some part of you (maybe your knee, shoulder or pelvic floor) doesn’t cope with increased intensity, volume or frequency. It’s hard to move more when you have an injury or chronic condition.
Growing up in our Western culture many of us have a body that has developed in a sedentary environment. Or maybe you have moved a lot but those movements have been very repetitive – running, running and more running! Consequently many of us do not move in a balanced way. Our Move Well programs are based on improving muscle use and balance across the body, specifically targeting areas of low mobility or strength – so that your overused parts can take a break and your underused parts can do their bit!
Moving more doesn’t always allow you to move better, but moving better always allows you to move more
