Welcome to our UK barefoot shoe directory! It’s about time we had one isn’t it?
It was created after yet another lengthy search for reasonably priced shoes, wellies & sandals in the UK and I figured it was time to a resource I, as well as you, could refer to in the future. There are so many wonderful shoes in the US, but postage costs are considerable and, since I nearly always guess my size wrong with a new brand, the cost of returning makes US shoes rather prohibitive for me.
I hope you find it useful. If you want to know how I classify shoes as ‘barefoot’ (I know people have different ‘rules’) please refer to this blog . In essence I’m looking for zero drop, wide toe box, fully attached to the foot and flexible footwear, oh and we don’t want a toe rise either thank you!
